HALO INFINITE - The Ring

Despite predominantly being involved with the Banished palette throughout Halo Infinite, I was granted rare opportunities to work on various other elements and palettes. When they announced that we would be releasing our first real look at our game and that it would feature a view of a semi-destroyed Halo ring, I literally jumped at the chance to be the Artist responsible for bringing the actual Halo ring to life!
I was very much in love with our associate art director, Martin Deschambault's depiction and tried my best to stay faithful to his illustration.

Responsibilities:
Creation of the Ring's metallic outer shell textures and materials. Setting up Oliver's high poly ring model to be a game ready asset with proper UVs and materials applied, while tuning and balancing them to meet our art direction goals.
